Well, that’s what happened to Akio Anima. Once just your typical average teen, Akio now has to grapple with the loss of not only his face but also any sense of a normal life he may have once had. But I mean, what’s really normal anyway?

Sure, living in a detective agency that investigates strange occurrences and magical misconduct may not be the first thing that comes to mind but maybe life at the Sanctum could one day be considered normal.

Akio finds friends, as well as foes, who all possess a strange ability known as tamashii, the manifestation of one’s soul. Maybe, he will even discover his along the way.

Tamashii is a power that is as unique as the soul itself. So how is it that Mr Daniel Entropy seems to be able to absorb them? Draining their very life essence it seems.

For the past decade, Detective Drew Nycto has been trailing Daniel but has never been able to even catch a glimpse of him. So why, after all these years, does this elusive shadow show himself now?
